Plagiarism Removal & Rewriting Service

If your own draft has come back with flagged passages — from Turnitin, an AI-writing indicator, or a supervisor's comments — we rewrite the specific sections that need it, in your voice and against your rubric, so the fix actually holds up rather than just changing surface wording.

We deliberately do not run your text through an automated paraphrasing tool or 'spinner'. Those tools swap words for synonyms and shuffle sentence structure without engaging with the argument, and the output is frequently both still detectable and worse writing than what you started with. What we do instead is have a subject-qualified writer read the flagged passage, understand what it's trying to say, and rewrite it properly.

What we help with

Two reports, issued with every delivery

Every assignment ships with a similarity report and an AI-writing indicator read, so you can see exactly what a marker would see before you submit — not after.

Assignment Byte is an independent academic support service, not Turnitin, iThenticate or any university's own integrity office, and we do not control how a receiving institution reads either report. Read more on how similarity checks work, what an AI-writing indicator actually measures, and your institution's academic integrity policy before you submit anything.

Why we won't use a paraphrasing tool, and you shouldn't either

Automated paraphrasing and 'article spinner' tools work by substituting synonyms and reordering clauses while leaving the underlying sentence structure and logic untouched. The output frequently reads awkwardly, occasionally changes the actual meaning of a technical sentence, and — because AI-writing indicators look at statistical patterns rather than exact wording — can trigger an AI-detection flag even when it fixes a similarity score.

It also does nothing for the actual problem a marker cares about, which is whether the ideas and argument are yours, presented in your own reasoning. A spun sentence with different words is still someone else's structure and someone else's argument wearing a new coat.

The honest fix is slower: understand what the flagged passage is actually trying to argue, and have a subject-qualified writer rebuild it from that understanding, in a voice consistent with the rest of your submission.

How the process works

Send us the flagged report (Turnitin, an AI-writing read, or supervisor feedback) and the passages it points to. We read the surrounding context, not just the flagged sentence in isolation, since a fix that doesn't fit the paragraph around it creates a new, more obvious problem.

Where the issue is a genuinely missing or malformed citation, we add or correct it rather than rewriting prose that was never the actual fault. Where the issue is close paraphrase or unattributed argument, we rebuild the passage from the underlying idea.

The revised sections are then re-run through a similarity check and an AI-writing read, and both come back with the delivery so you can see the result rather than take our word for it.

What this service will not do

We will not take someone else's full unattributed work and lightly reword it to disguise its origin — that is the same underlying integrity problem with extra steps, and we decline that kind of request. This service is for fixing your own draft, your own argument, and your own citations, not laundering someone else's.

We also will not promise a specific future score on a system we don't control, for the same reason set out on our Turnitin and AI-detection pages: any service that does is telling you what you want to hear rather than the truth.

Frequently asked questions

Will you just run my essay through a paraphrasing tool?

No. Automated spinners produce mechanically reworded text that often reads worse and can still be flagged, because detection tools look at structure and statistical patterns, not just exact word matches. We have a person rewrite the passage properly instead.

What if the flag is actually a missing citation, not plagiarised wording?

Then that's the fix — adding or correcting the citation, not rewriting text that was never the problem. Tell us what the report flagged and we'll diagnose which situation it is before doing anything.

Can you guarantee the rewritten version won't be flagged again?

No service can honestly guarantee a specific future score on a system it doesn't control. What we can guarantee is a genuine rewrite that engages with your argument, plus a fresh similarity and AI-writing report so you can see the result before you submit.

Is this the same as writing the assignment for me from scratch?

It can be as small as a few paragraphs or as large as a full redraft — you tell us the scope. Either way, we work from your original ideas and structure rather than replacing your argument with ours.

How fast can this be turned around?

Small, targeted rewrites of a few flagged passages are usually fast — message us on WhatsApp with the specific flags and your deadline for a timeline.
