Assignment Cover Page Generator

Most Nepali campuses expect a formal cover page on every submitted assignment: the institution and faculty, course title and code, the assignment title, who submitted it (name, roll or symbol number, registration number, semester or class, section), who it was submitted to, and the submission date. Laying that out neatly in Word every time is fiddly, and a messy first page starts an assignment off on the wrong foot.

Fill in the fields here and the preview builds a framed A4 cover page as you type — the classic layout Nepali colleges use, with the institution header, the assignment block, and the submitted-by and submitted-to columns. Print it directly or save it as a PDF from the print dialog, then staple it to the front of your work.

How to use it

  1. Choose your university or board — TU, KU, Purbanchal, Pokhara, Mid-West, Far Western, Nepal Sanskrit, Nepal Open, Rajshree Janak, Lumbini Buddhist, AFU, Madhesh, or NEB for school and +2 — pick 'Other university or campus' to type your own, or 'Generic' for no institution line.
  2. Add your campus or school name if you want it shown, then your faculty, programme, course title and code, and the assignment title.
  3. Fill in your name, roll or symbol number, registration number, semester or class and section, plus the instructor and submission date.
  4. Check the preview, then print or save as PDF — A4 size and margins are set automatically.

What a Nepali cover page usually needs

Exact requirements vary by campus and instructor, but the standard set is consistent across TU, KU, Purbanchal, Pokhara, NEB schools and most affiliated colleges: the institution name, campus or school, faculty and programme, course title with its code, the assignment title or number, the student's name with roll/symbol and registration numbers, semester or class and section, the instructor's name, and the submission date.

Dates deserve a moment of care: many Nepali campuses write them in Bikram Sambat while others expect AD. Match whatever your department uses, and ask if the brief does not say.

NEB, +2 and school assignments

School and +2 cover pages follow the same idea with different labels: the school name instead of a university, a stream or faculty such as Management or Science, a class instead of a semester, and a symbol number instead of a roll number. Choose the NEB option and the fields and preview labels switch to match.

Keep it plain

A cover page is a form, not a poster. One typeface, no colours, no clip art, and no decorative borders beyond a simple frame. The preview here follows the plain format most departments publish — and where your department's own template differs, its template wins.

Check the small print before printing: some campuses want the assignment number worded exactly as the brief states it, some want the registration number omitted for anonymous marking, and a few want the lecturer's title included. Adjust the fields to match your brief rather than the other way round.

Frequently asked questions

Is this cover page generator free?

Yes. Fill in the fields and print or save the PDF — no account and no sign-up.

Does it work for NEB +2 assignments?

Yes. Choose the NEB option and the fields switch to school labels: school name, stream, class and symbol number.

My university is not in the list. What do I do?

Pick 'Other university or campus' and type the name exactly as your college writes it, or choose 'Generic (no institution)' if your department does not want an institution line.

My campus has its own cover format. Should I still use this?

Use your campus template wherever one is published — it always wins. This generator covers the common layout for everywhere else, and the fields adjust to match most variants.
